Now that Google owns Youtube there are now going to be text ads on videos. The attempts that have been made have had ok reactions. The latest strategy seems to be inserting Adsense text ads into the videos. There will not be graphic ads. Web publishers will be able to sign up for categories or allow Google to deliver videos directly to your site based on your content. This service has not begun yet or is available to only a few publishers.

Joost has upgraded its internet Tv client to version 1.0 it is still beta. Which means that you still have to sign up to be a beta tester. Their are a few new features and performance is better. Some of the new features include, a modified user interface, larger icons, and the ability to customize your interface by dragging and dropping channel thumbnails. There is now an update service so it will automatically update when needed.
